The Kamon Coaster project is a collaboration with Saori Kajiwara. Drawing inspiration from traditional Japanese family crests, there are 8 patterns, CNC cut from very hard but lightweight birch ply. Patterns include sakura (cherry blossom), kiku (chrysanthemum) & other traditional motifs. Identity and packaging system reflects the goal to create a simple product with low waste. Designed & made in Melbourne.

Format:
CNC cut, hand polished 4mm birch ply, matt varnish.
Japan black or natural birch finish.
dimensions vary from piece to piece but are approx. 110mm in diameter.
